Abbott Diabetes Care - Visual UI design for new suite of products for the management of diabetes

FreeStyle Auto-Assist is software that downloads and analyzes data from Abbott's blood glucose meters to help providers improve quality of care. I established the look and feel for Auto-Assist. The visual design of Auto-Assist had to be consistent with the packaging of Abbott FreeStyle physical products.

When working on the interface and user interaction of Auto-Assist, extreme clarity was crucial. Any mistake in insulin dosing could have disastrous effects. We conducted user testing in several countries.
